At the Schuster Center for the Arts in Dayton, a special musical evening — "Concert For Peace" — will take place.
The event is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Agreements, which marked a significant milestone in establishing peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The concert will feature the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by world-renowned conductor Marin Alsop.
The program will include works by Leonard Bernstein, Ralph Vaughan Williams, and Ludwig van Beethoven. This will be the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra's only public appearance in the USA during this visit. The concert is supported by The Dayton Foundation and is held with the assistance of Congressman Mike Turner.
We invite you to join a evening of profound music that unites hearts in the name of peace.
